Coach Justin started bowling around the age of 8 years old and bowled in many youth leagues and tournaments. In high school he was selected by People to People Sports Ambassadors to represent the U.S.A. and bowl internationally in Australia and New Zealand. After high school Justin earned a scholarship to bowl for Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. He bowled at the collegiate level for a year and a half before joining the women’s team as an assistant coach for one year. During that year the women’s team went to nationals. After college, Justin bowled in multiple leagues and tournaments in Georgia and Oregon. He joined Bowlifi and Creating the Difference in 2020, and California Bowling staff in 2021. He is a Level 1 Certified Coach with the USBC and a Youth Director for Linn-Benton USBC. Through the USBC he is a registered volunteer with safe sport certification as well as being background checked. He has five 300 games and multiple 700 series. This is his third year as a high school coach.
Girls Coach - Cliff Meredith
Coach Cliff is a member of the Mid-Valley USBC Hall of Fame. He bowled at the collegiate level for Linn-Benton CC and Oregon State University competing in the USBC sectional competition. Coach Cliff worked as the Operations Manager at Sun Mountain Lanes in Bend and while there coached the Central Oregon CC bowling team. Coach Cliff has run several youth bowling programs over the years in the Albany area and was a Youth Director for many years with the Mid-Valley USBC and ORSUSBC. He has worked with both Oregon and Oregon State University in restarting their Collegiate Bowling programs. Coach Cliff coached the South Albany High School bowling team for three years, and served eight years as the OR State USBC High School Manager. Coach Cliff is a Registered Volunteer through the USBC and has completed the SafeSport Certification as required. He believes in making bowling a fun experience for those who are competitive and those who participate for enjoyment.
